5 out of 5 stars A must have for every family now   November 15, 2008
This "how to" book is a must have for every family with teenagers interested in sports. It fills the gap left by overworked high school/career/college counselors who don't have the time to create a personalized approach to scholarship applications. As early as 13 yrs old, students and their parents should use this book to guide their thinking about schools and scholarships. It is systematic and easy to follow, and its suggestions work. The authors continue to update it every two years, so information is timely. I highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Exactly What We Needed   June 19, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

As the parent of a high school junior in the throes of preparing for College, I wish I had found this book 5 years ago. It is easily the best organized step-by-step handbook I've ever seen to prepare for scholarship applications. Many of the suggestions apply beyond sports. It especially helped me communicate with my son about what we needed to do.

I recommend it to all teens and their parents.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic Book on how to Win a Scholarship   April 1, 2008
As a Baseball Coach and Author, I can honestly say this is one of the best sports scholarship books in the market today. The layout is an easy to read workbook format that takes a step by step approach to applying and representing the student athlete.

Colleges are looking for student athlete's with intellect, integrity and ability. Don't miss the opportunity to learn how the scholarship process works and how to make it work for the student athlete of today and tomorrow.

This is a must read.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent tool that works!   November 10, 2007
Super workbook that not only provides step by step guidance, but also expands your knowledge and options! As a college counselor, I always recommend it to my sports-minded clients and I refer to it frequently myself. Every parent with a college bound student can benefit from this insider/outsider perspective of college scholarship opportunities.
